Orange Jordan and the Ministry of Environment Organize Volunteer Cleanup Activity on World Cleanup Day at Wasfi Al Tal Forest
On the occasion of World Cleanup Day, Orange Jordan, in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, organized a volunteer cleanup activity at Wasfi Al Tal Forest in Al Balqa Governorate, with the participation of several of its employees. The initiative aimed to raise environmental awareness, promote a culture of preserving the cleanliness of public spaces, and protect natural resources, as part ofthe executive program of the national cleanliness and anti-littering strategy, along with joint efforts to strengthen environmental and social responsibility and encourage sustainable practices.
The activity took place as part of the "Engage for Change” program, which enables Orange Group employees across the Middle East and Africa to participate in volunteer and community initiatives that create a positive impact. More than 20 Orange Jordan employees took part in cleaning the forest and contributing to preserving its cleanliness and natural beauty, highlighting the importance of collective action in protecting the environment and promoting responsible behaviors.
